    Income or Assets
The article in www.caseinterview.com/income-or-assets should be used in the Economics/Finance class whenever possible. I personally believe that it not only helps in teaching students how to invest and lobby properly, but I also believe that it teaches students to be kind, humble people. The beginning of the article got me hooked because it talked about helping people with no intention of receiving any help in return, and I think that is one of the most important things anyone, regardless of who you are or what you are trying to accomplish, should be familiar with. Helping people and trying to better the world around you should always be a priority. On the other hand, the article talked about the different types of assets, which I think is easily explained and is a great way to show students that assets aren’t always possessions- they are relationships as well. If you have solid relationships with all sorts of people, you will always know someone that can help push you forward to where you see yourself being. I really liked the article because the author used personal examples from his life to explain how he became so successful- and clearly his techniques worked. So often, people (me included!) work primarily for the money because the future seems so expensive, but if we thought more intelligently about our money and time spent, we could put ourselves ahead of everyone else with barely any time or money invested. I think this article should absolutely be used in the Economics/Finance class because it successfully explains- in an easy way- the importance of income vs. assets and knowing the difference. This article changed my view on this class entirely, and I don’t think I would be the only one that felt that way if the whole class read it.
