Hi, my name is Anonymous. I am 20 years old, about to turn 21 on March 19th. I have gone to many schools including Apple Valley High School, Lakeville South High School, Apple Valley ALC, DCALS and now, Rahncliff. I am 4 and half credits from my diploma. I should have my diploma by the end of this session and I am SO EXCITED. I’m looking forward to furthering my education. I’m planning on going to school for nursing. I hope to work as a psych nurse in a hospital, but I would also enjoy moving around and working in plenty of different areas as well. I currently work at Verizon Wireless in Shakopee and I have worked there for just under a year. I don’t hate it, but sales is DEFINITELY not where I plan on staying.
Hey, my name is Gibby and I a 18 years old soon to be 19. i went to apple valley high school for two years and hated it, so I moved to the school of environmental studies for my last two years. I am currently trying to pick up some of the credits I missed in the past few years so that I can next year go to Normandale to get my generals and later transfer up to Moorehead so that I can major in Japanese and minor in business. I currently work at the Carmike cinema's in apple valley, which isn't a bad place to work, but doesn't pay well, so i intend to get another job to make more money.

DeleteHello, my name is Zac Mullenberg. I am 19 years old and will turn 20 in November. I attended Eastview High School and am about 3 credits short of getting my diploma. I should have my diploma by the end of this semester at Rahncliff. I plan on pursuing a degree in both engineering and chemistry starting this fall. My hope, in getting a degree in these fields, is that somehow I will be able to make some kind a difference in the world. Currently, I am working with a roofing company owned by a family friend. It is probably the most difficult work I have every done; and is for sure a motivating factor in working to get my college degree. I like the challenge I get from in and have fun doing it because I work with a fun crew, but I really don't want to be doing it any longer than I have too.

Roofing sounds like an interesting job and I bet it's pretty rough so that's cool that you don't have a job like most others do. Hope you pursue your goals for the future and I wish you luck.
DeleteHi, my name is Carlos. I was born in Pasadena, California, but my parents moved to MN right after I was born. I'm 19 turning 20 on the 28th of March. I like to hangout with friends and do family activities a lot. I attended Simley High School in Inver Grove Heights and was supposed to graduate with the class of 2013. Once I receive my high school diploma I plan on attending college to pursue a degree in law enforcement and reach my goal of becoming a police officer for the state of Minnesota.

DeleteHi my name is Jesse Garafola. I am 18 years old and I graduated from AVHS with the class of 2014. I'm currently working on getting my diploma which is why I'm here. I need 2 credits one for econ and an English credit. After I get my diploma I'm thinking about going to a community college (2 year) and after that go on to a 4 year, but I'm not really sure what I want to go to school for yet. I currently work for Davids construction In Lakeville MN we mainly work on in ground pools.

DeleteHi, my name is Hunter Johnson. Im 18 and I was apart of the class of 2014 from AVHS. I need 5 credits to get my diploma by the end of July. I plan on just working after I get my diploma because I don't have any intentions of going on furthering my education after this. I work at a restaraunt in Apple Valley and I've worked there for almost 2 years but I will probably quit by the end of the summer and look for a new place to live and try to get a better job.

DeleteHolla, My name is Abdirahman. just turned 18. I like studying history/economics. I live in Lake ville now, i am planning to go to college or 1 year program for Arabic language studies in Texas. I went to apple valley high school and also was PSEO student. I am student for life so studying during the summer or any other time where other aren't makes NO difference to me. In the Future i am trying to be a dentist, I like helping people and doing the right things to improve MY self. I currently Work/Volunteer as a Arabic and Islamic studies teacher in a Islamic center in burns ville. I teach usually boys and girls that are younger than 13. I love teaching even though its pretty hard especially controlling kids and reaching GOALS that are set for the curriculum. I always felt that i have been given so much so this is initiative of trying to give back. I want to be Grate full to my creator and his Creation.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Brie, and I am 18 years old. I have gone to 6 different schools throughout my 13 years of school, including Red Pine Elementary, Thomas Lake Elementary, Blackhawk Middle School, Friendly Hills Middle School, Eastview High School and the School of Environmental Studies. The longest I have stayed at a school is 3 years so moving doesn't really affect me too much. I used to play volleyball and I played for 4 years. I've been a figure skater for 15 years and finally put an end to it a month ago. I was captain of the district 196 figure skating team last year and it was a really good opportunity. I want to go to Lake Superior College or Normandale to do my generals and then I plan to go to University of Wisconsin Stout to study Interior Design or Graphic Design. I also have been thinking about working in the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders, so hopefully I can decide between the two of those. Right now I work as a skating coach at the Apple Valley and Inver Grove rinks, its fun but I'm sick of skating so its not a ton of fun for me. I don't know what else to write so thats it.

DeleteHi, my name is Carlos Ruiz. I'm 20 years old, turning 21 December 17th. I have only gone to Eagan High School and now I am here at Rahn Cliff. I don't have many more credits to finish so hopefully I'm done soon! After finishing I would like to further my education and get a good paying job. I would like to do something that involves coaching or being a physical trainer. On my free time I like to do anything that has to do with being outdoors. I like to fish, play soccer and hockey, and hangout with friends. When it comes to traveling I have only been to Mexico and a couple of states besides MN. Currently I work at a family restaurant my dad and uncle started up. I'm a floor manager and I also expo, it's not the worst job out there but working in the restaurant business is not what I intend to do in the future.

I was born in India at the age of thirteen I moved to Minnesota with my family. I am a christian. I like to go India this summer also I went to India for three weeks it was one of the happiest days ever. I had lot of fun with my friends and families there and also I went to Dubai I got a chance to see a tallest building in the world name Burij Kalifa. I have a two sisters they are younger than me I am the eldest one in my family. I like to go back to India . I want to became a nurse because I like to care the people. I want to work hard to reach my goal. I hope I will get a good grade in this class.

Now i decided to go back to school, im in the ABE program to try to catch up but i will be attending ALC this fall. After a few months at ALC i hope to graduate by January. I have two jobs, i work at TCF bank as a bank teller and shift manager at papa murphys. I like to go to the beach in my free time and just hang out with my friends. I have no clue what fun things i'm going to do when it starts to snow again.
ReplyDeleteHello, my name is Eleanor. I am 18 years old and I turn 19 in November. I went to South high in Minneapolis then switched to SES after my sophomore year and have graduated. I have also taken classes here before for credits I didn't get at South. If I complete some classes here I should get my diploma. After I am completely done with HS i plan on moving to Costa Rica to live with my family for a few months while I work and volunteer. I don't know what I want to go to college for yet but I know it's gonna be something to do with animals. I have hobbies like singing,listening to music/discovering new music, netflix, going to the beach with friends, and being with animals. I used to have a job at the Mall Of America at Abercrombie kids but i quit because my manager didn't give me enough hours. I also used to be super into sports like swimming, dance, ultimate, and track but stopped because I kept getting injured. In the future I definitely plan on doing something important in the animal and environment field, probably vet or vet tech or a zoologist, but I totally don't want to work in retail forever.

I have been to many different schools in Minneapolis like Barton Open for middle school and South Senior High School and then I went to the School of Environmental Studies (SES) for my final year. I have 1.50 credits to do before i get my diploma. i still don't know what i wanna do in my future I'm going to take a gap year so I can figure out what I wanna do. I enjoy playing football and rebuilding old cars and video games. But my favorite thing to do is sleep and I enjoy it. I have 2 jobs I work at Best Buy and the Lone Oak Grill as a bartender and bus boy, I just started working at Best Buy but I've been working at the Lone Oak Grill for a little over a year and i am not planning to stay.

I only have to finish up four credits before I get my diploma.Next fall i plan on taking online and independent study classes at Normandale for a year then transfer over to St.Xavier to do a double major in Dance and High School Education with a minor in Psychology. I currently work at a dance studio in St.Paul and a Daycare center in Apple Valley. In my spare time I hang out with friends if I'm not babysitting or taking care of the two girls I live with.

I transferred back to Rosemount for the last tri but did not complete it. I love adventures and being outside especially when it starts to warm up. I decided to place adventures as a higher priority then school which is why I am now in summer school. I will be moving to texas this time next year with my best friend Tom. I am hoping to get into the university of Austin for ether nursing or pre-k teaching degree. I love helping people in anyway I can.

My goal is to go to college and earn a degree in sociology and psychology. I love studying human behavior and I'm thinking of becoming a "case manager", because I love helping people. I'm really thankful for ABE so I can earn my credits and I hope that I can meet some new people while I'm here.
ReplyDeleteI've always been interested in psychology. At SES we did a unit on population and we had to study people, so we took mass transit to the U of M studying people along the way. I was fascinated at how different people are.
DeleteHello my name is Sawyer Rasmussen and I am 20 years old and I attended Eagan High school. I walked with my class in 2012 but didn't earn my diploma, hence why I'm here at Rahncliff. I need about 7-10 credits until i can earn my diploma. On my free time i enjoy hanging out with friends and playing some occasional video games here and there. But I really enjoy listening to music and singing, it just puts me in a another world! I plan on graduating and continuing my education at Inver-hills community college or Normandale. After my two years i would love to transfer to a 4 year as it is one of my big goals to accomplish. I hope I can learn a lot from being here and meet some cool people and have a fun time!

ReplyDeleteHi, my name is Oscar. I grew up in Southern California and moved to Minnesota about 3 (almost 4) years ago. I am close to receiving my HS diploma and I plan on moving back to SoCal next year and further my education there. Some things I enjoy doing are watching anime, playing video games, drawing and reading. Although I am terrible at drawing I am slowly improving. I know how to play the oboe a bit but I am also interested in learning other musical instruments such as the cello, viola and piano which I plan to do sometime in the future. Traveling is something I've done a bit and plan to do more of as well.
